About Me

Hey, I’m Jess—a blogger, Second Life entrepreneur, content creator, and, surprisingly, not much of a gamer. So, you’re probably wondering: why start a blog about gaming?

Let me give you a bit of backstory. For the last three years, I’ve been fully immersed in the virtual world of Second Life. I run a successful blog called Jess and Her Gentlemen, where I create everything from helpful guides to content that leans into more adult niches. My Second Life businesses have grown to the point where they’ve become my full-time career, which means I’ve traded in the daily commute for the flexibility to do what I love—creating, connecting, and writing.

As I said, gaming has never really been my thing. Sure, over a decade ago, I fell head over heels for Final Fantasy 14. I’m obsessed with everything about it—the lore, the raids, the dungeons, the glam, and yes, even the PVP. But beyond that, gaming hasn’t been part of my life. Now, before you say it: Second Life isn’t a game. It’s a platform, a world, but definitely not a “game.”

Recently, though, I’ve found myself wondering what else is out there. My friends are avid gamers who can’t stop raving about the games they’ve played, and it’s made me curious. What have I been missing? That curiosity led me here.

This blog lets me combine two things I absolutely love—writing and exploring new experiences. Gaming might be new to me, but blogging is my home turf. Writing feels personal and powerful in a way that video content just doesn’t for me. Sure, I could start a YouTube or Twitch channel, but the truth is, I love the process of creating stories and writing words. The written word has a certain depth that I can’t get enough of.

So, welcome to my new adventure. I’ll be trying out games, sharing my experiences, and seeing where this journey takes us. It’s new, it’s exciting, and honestly? I can’t wait to get started. Let’s see where we end up.
